When I was about 24 or 25 years young I was working three jobs and going to school full time.
I was just having fun without a care in the world. I was doing what I wanted to do and enjoying life to the fullest.
Then my life changed quickly and drastically – I found out that I was going to be a father!
That definitely shook me as it should any young 20-year-old.
I knew that the life that I was living wasn’t going to be able to provide for a family.
I definitely was a little confused about the direction I should go, and it just so happened that I decided to visit my family chiropractor. I got to see him and he knew what was going on in my headspace.
He knew something was up and I told him.
He told me to follow him around.
As I was following him around, he was guiding me through what he did for people. I was able to see how he, with his own two hands, actually helps people feel better, get out of pain and also live a better life.
At that moment, that’s when I knew that’s what I was going to do.
The funny thing was, I came home to our apartment and I remember Elizabeth, my better half, was cleaning.
I sat down and I said, “We are moving to St. Louis. I’m going to be a chiropractor!“
